Unique Pebbles coffee table by Ib Kofod-Larsen

Unique coffee table, designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Seffle Möbelfabrik, featuring a rosewood base and a moulded polyester top inlaid with natural pebbles. This exceptional piece is in its original condition, showing slight signs of wear and a beautiful patina. Ib Kofod-Larsen, born in Denmark in 1921, was a renowned designer, graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1948. Known for his experimental approach to furniture design, he frequently worked with noble materials such as teak, rosewood, and leather. This table, dating from the 1960s, showcases his innovative use of thermosetting polyester, in collaboration with Dansk Glasfiber Industri. Dimensions: Height 53 cm, Width 141 cm, Depth 65 cm.
