Turned and glazed stoneware jug. Covered with characteristic drips from the workshop and one of the most sought-after decorations from this iconic potter of the La Borne (Berry) stoneware revival. Handle pulled in one motion. Handmade piece, turned and glazed by hand: small firing irregularities inherent to the technique (wood-fired kiln, salt glaze). Impressed mark "Joseph Talbot, La Borne" under the base. In very good condition, with discreet small chips that do not affect structural integrity. No restoration to note.
