Superb set of 4 Danish chairs from around 1960. Iconic model 197 by the famous architect and designer Finn Juhl, produced by France & Son (the 4 chairs are stamped and bear the publisher's metal label, see photos). Teak structure, seats and backs covered in high-quality black faux leather with a slight grain. The seats have been reupholstered by an upholsterer specifically for sale, exactly matching the original ones, with the fixing legs replaced. Notably, the model features a slanted backrest (which offers excellent comfort for the back) and is set into the side rails forming a groove. The seat appears to be suspended. Finally, attention to detail extends to the brass edging of the screws. Backrest height 75.5 cm, seat height 44.5 cm, width 49 cm, and depth 49.5 cm. In perfect condition, there are only 2 minor scuffs on the lower edge of one backrest, imperceptible (see second to last photo). With these chairs, choose a high-quality decor with timeless design!!!
