Vintage throne armchair designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904 and relaunched in 1973. This authenticated and stamped model was manufactured by Cassina in Italy. The design is inspired by the chair CRM donated in 1904 to the "Willow Tea Rooms" in Glasgow, his hometown. The tall semi-circular back of the chair served to divide the entrance area from the tea room behind it, perfectly showcasing Mackintosh's geometric and Art Nouveau style. Cassina utilized advanced technology combined with expert carpentry to create this chair, evident in the precise assembly of its elegant, lightweight latticed frame. The piece is in very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Dimensions: Width 94 cm, Depth 41 cm, and Height 119 cm. Please note that items made of rosewood may require a special export process, potentially extending delivery by 2 to 4 weeks.
