Colombo 626 floor lamp mid-century by Joe Colombo for Oluce, 1970s

Vintage design. A classic from Oluce, created by Joe Colombo in the 1970s. Here is an early version in the particularly rare colour blue. The name of the lamp directly references its unique designer: Joe Colombo. The proportions are particularly remarkable. A flat light head is mounted on a long chrome stem and can be moved up and down. Additionally, it can be tilted and rotated. It is secured via a plastic rotary button with a handle. The height of the lamp, just over 2 m, is also special, making it quite impressive despite its filigree design. A rotary dimmer is integrated into the head, which exactly reflects the shape of the height adjustment handle.
