Large ancient glazed terracotta jug – South of France, early 10th century

Authentic old earthenware jug, probably from the south of France (Provence / Languedoc), dating from the early 20th century. A beautiful handcrafted piece with a simple and warm decor: ochre yellow glaze with natural marks and original green drips, contrasting with a raw base. Its generous shape, two handles (one for carrying) and spout make it an object that is both aesthetic and rich in history.
