Set of 6 flat cream-colored plates with chantourné edges from the "ivory" service of digoin sarreguemines. Diameter: 24.5 cm. 2.5 cm high. Weight of a plate: 450 g. The peculiarity of this service lies in the "cream" color of the earthenware, which fluctuates depending on the light between off-white and beige, hence the slight differences according to the photos. The stamp on the back indicates manufacture before 1919. Nice condition, some spots concentrated on the center and some chips, but no cracks or chips. Any significant imperfection is mentioned and highlighted by the photographs but these plates having known several lives, they may have irregularities, manufacturing defects or marks that reflect their centenary experience and their history.
