Bakelite Office Lamp By Bauhaus Team, Czechoslovakia, Circa 1930

Iconic bakelite table (can be used as a wall lamp, too) designed in 1930s by bauhaus team. Produced in czechoslovakia as a type esc typ 11641. Manufactured by the esc company. To this day the light combines a great style and clever design trick. The light is produced out of two pieces, the base in dark brown bakelite and the shield in the same shade of bakelite. The shield has a clip which is attached on the light bulb (e27 type) and can be adjusted to any side. The light is in original, very good condition. Only one chip on the bakelite, on the front bottom side. This is hard to see, but it is there. Fully functional. We also have one light of the same model in white bakelite available.
