Very beautiful Chinese porcelain lamp base, in Kangxi style, late 19th century. Carved wooden base, brass mount. Scenes known as scholar's and symbolic objects (tables, vases, scrolls, flowers, incense burners), alternating with floral panels. Generally in good condition, some chips at the neck, minor old restoration at the base. A true presence for a genuine object of affection.
