Pair of 20th century designer coffee tables

Pair of large gilt and patinated bronze end tables or coffee tables from Maison CHARLES, mid-20th century. Clear glass top (new), the uprights are decorated with a bronze capital in the upper part. Shelves upholstered in black leather with a gilt motif around the edge, brass ingot mold and tapered legs. Inscription on the reverse CHARLES & Fils on one piece. Note wear on one leather and small oxidations (see photos). H 51 x W 65 x D 65 cm
