Original pop art vintage reissue. Reissued poster based on the American artist: Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) Title: Kiss V (1964) Stamp on the back of the poster with the artist's name and the name of the work. Eggshell white paper. Type 180 g. Size: 29.3 x 36 cm. Secure shipping in a mailing tube. Poster sold alone without framing. "The last photo shows an idea of the poster once framed." The work depicts a crying woman kissing her partner. Are these tears of joy or is her heart broken… Without the other panels of the story, we can only speculate. Lichtenstein also does not give us any clues with one of his usual sandwiches or one of his onomatopoeias, typical of the language of the 9th art. The fact is that Lichtenstein seemed to love girls who cried in the foreground, as he has several works on the subject. Roy Lichtenstein, born on 27 October 1923 in Manhattan (New York), where he died on 29 September 1997, is one of the most important artists of the American pop art movement. His works are heavily inspired by the advertising and popular imagery of his time, as well as comic strips. He himself describes his style as "as artificial as possible."
