Cristal Arte Pink Oval Rosé Mid-Century Wall Mirror, Italy, 1960s

A distinctive mirror double-level wall mirror from the 1960s, made in Italy by Cristal Arte / Crystal Art. The mirror can be mounted in either landscape or portrait format and looks beautiful in both orientations.It consists of two mirror elements: a charming oval mirror mounted on a pink rosé-tinted backplate with warm copper hues. The backplate features a beautifully elegant, scalloped and faceted beveled edge. This lovely and highly decorative mirror is in excellent condition, with only very minimal signs of wear and no damage. 50x70cm. Cristal Arte was an Italian design company founded in Turin in 1944, renowned for its high-quality glass and mirror creations. Especially active from the 1950s through the 1970s, the brand became known for its elegant and innovative designs, often combining colored glass, mirrored surfaces, and refined craftsmanship—in the spirit of Max Ingrand, Fontana Arte, Antonio Lupi Cristal Luxor and mid-century Italian design.
