Gilt bronze writing inkwell circa 1900

Old gilded bronze writing inkwell circa 1900 art nouveau style. Quill rest with a sinuous, wavy and round shape, carrying a central inkwell, with a removable bronze ink cup under its cover. Art nouveau style, dated around 1890/1900. Decorative object, from a time when practicality and elegance were essential! Very poorly stored and forgotten for decades, it awaits today, after having found its splendor, its new home. It will be a most charming and elegant decoration, while receiving your fountain pens, or other. A witness to the past, it will not leave anyone indifferent!
