Ball vase in enamel sandstone cracked inside Indigo

The vase is in perfect condition, no gaps, no cracks or splinters. It is made of enamelled sandstone, of a beautiful heavy earth a little stony, and its cracked enamel in pastel tones, ranging from blue gray to pink, is magnificent. The inside of the vase is enamelled in indigo blue. Very beautiful shape ball turned, with a slight ledge at the collar, which suggests the richness of the blue. The piece is marked on the reverse with a discreet sign at the tip. Very beautiful mastery of the enamel and softness of the forms make this vase a very touching piece. French production of the first half of the twentieth century.
