A beautiful art deco vase in cherry pink color on a transparent glass. Adorned with wide golden bayadères stripes, it is attractive to the eye and is part of a modernity that will merge to delight on a modern enfilade or in a more vintage decoration. With soft curves, cherry pink color, it will be ideal for a medium-sized bouquet of flowers. The vase is not signed and has no label. On the other hand, it is typical of the style produced by Belgian glassworks of the Art Deco period (circa 1920-1940) such as the Rupel Boom glassworks, or Doyen (Mons) but also Laeken glassworks. I have not identified the exact model but by my research, it is more than certain that it comes from the glassworks of laeken because this production has typical characteristics like very wide stripes bayadères golden condition: very good. No damage. The edge is perfect. The golden lines have not thinned with the exception of the one around the upper edge. This one is erased (see photos) on the collar but this does not raise its beauty and quality. Given its age, some signs of wear may be present, and imperfections such as glass wires and air bubbles are quite normal for art deco glass. Nothing strange for an almost century-old vase.
