Pair of pewter candlesticks with twisted shaft on beaded base — second half of the 20th century

Pair of candlesticks in pewter, with a twisted diamond-shaped shaft set on a stepped base bordered by a beaded frieze. Circular bobeche and fluted binet. The central twist, slightly different on each piece, attests to handwork. Uniform dark patina typical of old pewter. Workshop work not identified, second half of the 20th century.
