2 boarding school bedside tables modernist formica style and black lacquered metal

These two bedside tables, simple and elegant, have a resolutely modernist style with their wooden shelves and fine veneer of formica type imitating a dark wood with a nice veining and their tubular metal structure with black lacquered square section. It looks like a design by pierre guariche! Indeed, I have seen small tables attributed to it (designed for the editor meurop) and which look a lot like these bedside tables, with the front legs very slightly inclined, the same coating and no edge on the edge, the same structure, the same very simple assembly. These bedside tables are equipped with a small drawer, small square pads to avoid damaging the floor. They were furnishing a nursing school boarding school in the 60s. They are in good condition, solid and stable, no big defects to note, just a few small scratches not very visible and a slight "veil" in places (which we only see at a certain angle and a certain light) on the shelves, the edge of the tablets has some spots. They measure 44 cm in height, the top shelf measures 55 cm by 35 cm. They each weigh about 8 kg. Two other identical bedside tables (but one with the missing drawer) are or will soon be on sale in my shop.
