Bedside table end of sofa modernist style formica and black lacquered metal

This bedside, simple and elegant, has a resolutely modernist style with its wooden tablet and fine veneer of formica type imitating a dark wood with a nice veining and its tubular metal structure with black lacquered square section. It looks like a design by Pierre Guariche! Indeed, I have seen small tables attributed to it (designed for the editor Meurop) and which look a lot like this bedside, with the front legs very slightly inclined, the same coating and no edge on the edge, the same structure, the same assembly very simple. This bedside is equipped with small square pads to avoid damaging the floor. He was in charge of a nursing school boarding school in the 60s. It is in rather good general condition, still very solid, but does not hide its age: it should have a drawer, but this one is absent, it swings very slightly, the shelves have some fine stripes (one is relatively long) not too visible, the edge of the tablets has some spots and the black lacquer on the end of a foot "blisters" slightly (it is not very visible, it was by touch that I realized it). It measures 44 cm in height, the upper shelf measures 55 cm by 35 cm. It weighs about 8 kg. Three other identical bedside tables (with the drawers this time) are or will soon be on sale in my shop.
