Description
An ancient chinese porcelain plate from the east india company. With floral decoration of chrysanthemums and florets. Period: xviiith. Diameter 23 cm. Good condition. The east india company began with portugal, then expanded with the dutch and english market to develop in france in 1642 and experienced a real boom from colbert in 1664.la company closed around 1795. Pink family: period from 1730 to early nineteenth century with an opaque enamel dominating pink gold (pale pink, coral red, mauve, salmon and lavender blue).
