Beautiful and rare small vintage blue vase, ear vase, made from glazed blue crackle earthenware with geometric pattern, design attributed to aldo londi for bitossi, color rimini blue, 1960s, not marked. Collector's item, these vases may not be that large but they are highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs of bitossi, rare in this size and shape. Italian ceramist aldo londi from montelupo became art director of bitossi in the early 1950s and created his famous rimini blu collection in 1955. This collection has over 150 different designs, vases, bowls and animals, all glazed in bright blue and green colors with their characteristic and iconic pattern.
