An official Philips reissue of the iconic NB 100 desk lamp by Louis Kalff in white-light grey. Louis Kalff was a pioneer in the field of industrial design and is a famous lighting architect. His often UFO-shaped lamps are the best known; you can also see this spatial idea in his design of the Evoluon building in Eindhoven. From 1925 onwards he mainly worked for Philips. Around 1960 he designed the original and now iconic NB100 desk lamp / table lamp. Philips decided that this lamp deserved to be revived. The remake of this lamp now has a LED lamp, with a soft-touch switch. By placing your finger on a large round button you turn the lamp on/off and you can dim or brighten the brightness. The colour of the lampshade is very light grey, almost white. The lamp is technically 100% and is like new! Dimensions in cm: width 34 / depth 34 / height 40.
