French Vintage Art Deco Style Hanging Ceiling Light – Clichy Glass Shade

French vintage hanging ceiling light in an elegant Art Deco style, featuring a striking tiered Clichy glass shade in soft white and grey, beautifully accented with black highlights. The sculptural, tiered glass creates a wonderful stepped effect, typical of the geometric elegance associated with the Art Deco period. The combination of white, grey and black gives the shade a sophisticated monochrome appearance, making it a particularly attractive feature light. The shade is suspended from three ropes, held neatly in position with rope buttons, and hangs from a traditional rope cup-style ceiling canopy. The simple suspension allows the beautiful glass shade to remain the main focus.The light is wired with French twin core wiring and takes 1 X B22 bayonet Bulb. The shade is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, it does have some air bubbles which is common in this type of glass. The black highlights have bee hand painted in black with some of the paint missing in places.
