Dressing table in walnut, white veined marble top, swivelling mirror. France, late 19th – early 20th century. Structure in stained brown solid walnut, four turned spindle legs with rings, curved apron with arcatures, central drawer with turned knob, low shelf with sinuous curve. Top in grey veined white marble with a three-sided backsplash forming a basin. Side towel rails with turned balls. Square swivelling mirror on turned columns with finials, walnut frame. Complete and original set, characteristic of the bourgeois French dressing table from the Third Republic. Total height: 112 cm (including mirror). Height of marble top: 68 cm (77 cm including the edges). Width: 77 cm (90 cm including the towel rails). Depth: 40 cm. Overall good condition. Homogeneous old patina. Marble without apparent chips. Some stains and wear consistent with age, visible in the photos. Mirror slightly tarnished, which adds extra charm.
