Vanity unit with illuminated mirror in wood and marble, made from an antique dressing table dating back to 10th February 1928. This unique piece combines the charm of vintage furniture with modern use for the bathroom. The unit consists of: – a beautifully veneered solid wood base. – a marble countertop and splashback. – a matching mirror. Transformation into a vanity unit: The wood has been sandblasted and then protected with a hard oil, providing long-lasting protection while maintaining a natural and warm appearance. The marble has been polished and buffed to reveal the depth and shine of the stone. Two LED strips have been integrated on either side of the mirror, providing elegant and practical lighting, activated by a discreet push button. A passage has been created in the unit for the basin's drainage. The marble splashback has been drilled to accommodate a three-piece tap supplied by Kroos, a French company. The holes from the old shelf have been used to install two elegant accessories for soap and toothbrushes. For a more streamlined style, the two accessories can be removed (and deducted from the price). In this case, the holes will be filled. It is possible to sell the unit with or without the basin if you wish to choose your own model. This piece is nearly 100 years old. It shows some signs of age (scratches, small visible impacts in the photos, woodworm holes) but remains overall in very good condition.
