Glass, chrome-plated steel. 35 X 17 X h 50 cm. Bulb e27. Ferruccio laviani is an italian designer born in 1960. His work is emerging from the 1990s, in the current of the group memphis. An architect by training, graduated in 1978, he creates industrial design objects, mainly lamps or lighting systems, using in particular colored transparent plastic materials, such as polycarbonate or plexiglass. He collaborates with the company kartell, which produces several of his creations, including the bourgie lamp, or the table max. He has been its artistic director since 20152. He collaborates with other companies and designers such as foscarini, achille castiglioni and ettore sottsass. Exhibition model: the metal diffuser should have been able to slide a little but it is blocked.
