Danish Teak Armchair by Grete Jalk (1960s)

Danish teak armchair from the 60s by designer grete jalk. In good original condition. Width: 78 cm, height: 78 cm, depth: 78 cm, seat height: 42 cm grete jalk was born in denmark in 1920. She began her studies in philosophy at the university of copenhagen. In the early 1940s she studied cabinetmaking. She continued her studies in furniture design at the copenhagen school of arts and crafts and industrial design at the royal academy of arts. She designed wooden furniture for the manufacturer poul jeppesen and tubular steel furniture for the manufacturer fritz hensen. She also applied her creativity in the field of textiles and wallpaper.
