Antique Zabo children's chair (attributed) – varnished wood & blue seat

Charming little school chair for children, in varnished wood with blue painted seat. Its streamlined design with angular lines, the canted frame and the black reinforcements on the legs recall the constructive principles of Jean Prouvé's furniture. This is believed to be an unstamped model attributed to the Dutch manufacturer Zabo, known for its wooden educational furniture and toys in the 1950s and 1960s. Very good condition for its age. The seat, frame and finishes show consistent traces of use but no structural defects or missing elements. A piece as decorative as it is functional, to be diverted according to inspiration.
