Set of three square plates from Deruta signed MARI E.C., botanical decoration 962.21

Superb trio of square plates in Italian faience signed MARI E.C. DERUTA. Model 962.21. Each piece is hand-painted by a decorator identified by the initials E.C., in a delicate botanical style inspired by old herbarium plates: Ranunculus (buttercup), Brunia, Garou (daphne garou). Their square design and colourful decorations reflect the mid-century Italian aesthetic of the 1960s–1970s. Both decorative pieces and collector's items, they are perfect for a wall composition or a poetic display. Stamped MARI.EC. DERUTTA 962.21. In beautiful vintage condition, with bright glaze, slight original irregularities due to artisanal work, one plate has three chips on the underside and the rim (see photos). Dimensions: approximately 21x21 cm, height 2.5 cm. Full of charm between Italian craftsmanship, naturalistic style, and mid-century design.
