Louis XV Bench - Maison Moissonnier

Marquise with 2 seats, in Louis XV style, reinterpreted. Handcrafted in France, Moissonnier art cabinetmaking. Technical details: Unique piece. Structure: Hand-carved solid wood. Finish: Characteristic "antique" patina of the house (wood aging done in the workshop, original worn appearance). Artisanal upholstery in cotton and linen. Textile design: Exclusive floral pattern. Combination of a floral print on the backrest and seat, and a bayadère striped pattern on the lower rail and back. Condition and maintenance: The wooden structure is sound and stable. The fabric shows localized signs of use (slight halos on the linen/cotton), consistent with a piece from this era. The fabric is removable for dry cleaning. Item kept in a non-smoking environment.
