Barber mirror Japan triptych Napoleon III era, bamboo wooden frame decorated with nineteenth century birds

Former barber mirror of napoleon III period dating from 1876 with japanese decoration. The frame is made of wood carved like bamboo branches. It is composed of 2 articulated mirrors elegantly stitched by time and a glass in very good condition. The strapping of the side leaves are circled by a thin layer of brass. There left panel is covered with a beautiful gold and black paper depicting a bucolic japanese scene with swans. We like it hanging on the blackberry thanks to its chain in an entrance or a living room. The traces left by time give this object a lot of delicacy and poetry. When it is closed, it gives the impression of having a japanese print at home. Very good general condition for his age. The clasp works and still closes. For lovers of ancient and rare objects.
