Kirby.Beard Silverware Shell Butter Dish

Antique butter dish in the shape of a shell, also suitable as a pocket emptier, in silver-plated metal placed on 3 small ball feet. Stamped "Kirby.Beard&Co" intaglio on the back of the handle with a star and the number 32552. This silversmith was active in Paris from 1900 until 1970, and production was made in England. In good used condition from the mid-20th century, the shell shows some signs of age (see photos), a cleaning will do it good. Dimensions: 10.5 X 9 X 2cm - weight 48g.
