Scandinavian lamp Kay Korbing Denmark

Suspension designed by Kay Kørbing in 1967 for Lyfa. This model was notably used aboard two DFDS ferries as well as in the foyer of the Radisson Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, designed by Arne Jacobsen. Made of partially lacquered solid brass, it diffuses light through fine vertical perforations. The base is adorned with a thick crystal ring made by Orrefors in Sweden. This example is the long version, probably intended for installation under a higher ceiling.
