Table lamp by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors in light blue glass and brass, made in Sweden around 1960. Good condition. 1 table lamp available, without shade. Carl Fagerlund was a Swedish architect and designer specialising in lighting, active at the Orrefors glassworks between 1946 and 1980. In addition to various models of ceiling and table lights for domestic use, Fagerlund notably worked on public buildings such as: Waldemarsudde of Prince Eugen, the town hall of Frederiksberg, the Hotel D'Angleterre and the Mercur Hotel in Copenhagen, the former town hall of Kiruna, the Swedish embassy in Tokyo, the church of Möllevången in Malmö, the headquarters of General Motors in the United States, and the crematorium in Gävle. Since 1898, Orrefors has been part of the Swedish design tradition, characterised by timeless aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship, and sustainable quality.
