Small mazarin office or money changer louis XIV era, around 1680. This desk in rosewood marquetry, walnut bramble, light boxwood nets has 6 inlaid drawers on the front divided into 2 boxes separated by a door also inlaid with walnut bramble nets with geometric patterns. The tray divided into 2 parts, "with broken top" has 4 small drawers on the front revealing an inlaid tray in walnut bramble. Entrances of locks in original gilded bronze. It rests on 8 blackened wooden ball legs joined by intersects inlaid with geometric patterns in walnut and rosewood veneer. Twisted base (original, very important) in solid walnut. The base, the box, the locks and the mechanism of the tray are original. The furniture has been revised, revarnished, in our workshop (cabinetmaker approved historical monuments) and therefore in excellent condition. High: 82cm, width: 115cm, prof: 67cm.
