Origin. Italian vintage form-vase designed by Cianciolo Noma Messina, created in the 1960s. Signed by the artist; provenance links to Italian studio S. Stefano (Me). Design. Low, squat ovoid form with a short neck and slightly flared dark-accented rim. Hand-painted abstract band around the shoulder in cream/ivory, mustard, terracotta/pink and burgundy, outlined in black. Main glaze is sandy brown with a matte speckled finish; incised lines encircle the lower body and shoulder. Signature. Signed "cianciolo noma" on the lower side of the painted band. Authentic vintage design object from 1960s Italy. Dimensions. Height: 17 cm; Width: 26 cm; Depth: 26 cm.
