Lemon tree alley, 1950s

Large vintage sideboard with four doors, in lemon tree veneer and blackened wood (length = 245.5 cm). Excellent quality of craftsmanship, French or Italian (?). The interior is fully veneered in birch, including the drawer bottoms. The shelves are height adjustable, on brass supports. The entire piece is assembled with screws and dowels. All doors have opening hinges to prevent accidents at the pivots. The blackened wood legs, which are very recessed, give it elegance and lightness. Overall excellent condition, with some minor signs of use consistent with age and usage; the keys are present but non-functional, the rod locks are complete and removable, but the doors remain securely closed when pushed...
