Sublime decorative ceramic bowl from Vallauris – Original vintage piece from the 1950s/1960s. This piece captivates with the elegant contrast between its intense, glossy black background and its beautiful hand-painted polychrome floral patterns (shades of purple, terracotta, and celadon green). ✨ The craftsmanship: Hand-gilded contours: Each flower, leaf, and scalloped edge is enhanced with stunning gold leaf that beautifully catches the light. Relief effect: A subtle cloisonné work that adds depth and character to the decoration. Scalloped shape: Fluid, flowing curves that are very characteristic of Vallauris ceramic craftsmanship. Authentic: Signed Vallauris under the base (with model number 51). Very good overall condition for its age, with a lovely shine to the glaze.
