Pair of Adriatic wall sconces by Stéllor – circa 1960

A simple, almost obvious silhouette, enhanced by a very graphic black and white contrast… and this absolutely remarkable textured glass. This pair of Adriatique wall lights, published by Stéllor in the 1950s-60s, perfectly embodies the elegance of post-war design: a subtle balance between material, light, and clean lines. The opaline diffuser is topped with a textured moulded glass that captures and transforms the light. When lit, they emit a soft, enveloping glow. When off, they become true sculptural elements. To be installed in pairs on either side of a bed, in an entrance, or to frame a sofa, they immediately bring rhythm and character to an interior. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Slight signs of age consistent with their years, without affecting the aesthetics or functionality.
