Coffee table 'Bilderdijk' - dutch design - mid century modern in teak

A versatile piece of Dutch design from the mid-20th century! This coffee table, reportedly made by manufacturer Knico, exudes the atmosphere of the 1950s and 1960s. It has recently been lovingly restored and is in neat condition. The entire wooden construction has been checked, so the table can last for many years to come. The best feature of this table is the reversible top. You can literally change its appearance in an instant! On one side, you see the warm, beautiful teak wood finish. This side has recently been given an almost invisible but protective coating, which perfectly protects the wood against rings, grease, and moisture from daily use. If you want a different look, for example, something sleeker or even more user-friendly, or for an occasion where the top can take a bit more, simply flip the top and you have a sturdy, typical Formica surface. This side is still perfectly usable and has only one very small, dark spot that only adds to the table's story.
