XL dining table in travertine, Italy circa 1970

Exceptional Italian dining table from around 1970. Made entirely of natural travertine (treated and waterproofed), it features a central octagonal cut corner base (much rarer and more stylish than the usual two-legged models and much more practical for accommodating chairs) and a stunning rectangular top with semi-circular ends and rounded edges that can seat up to 8 guests. The beauty of the travertine's veining is noted here, leaning more towards an ecru than the usual beige. The top measures 200x100x3 cm in thickness and stands at a height of 74.5 cm. The base measures 90 cm in length and 45 cm in width. In perfect condition with no scratches or chips on the top, there is just a small chip on the top of the base, which is invisible when in place, as well as a micro chip at the base (see the last two photos). With a brutalist spirit, ultra design, and high quality, this table will become the standout piece of your dining area. Italian class!!!.
