Mahogany secretary Louis XVI style

Superb mahogany lid secretary in louis XVI style with white marble top. Three drawers in the lower part surmounted by a lid opening onto the secretariat part. Two small shelves 66 cm wide for 26 cm and 16 cm deep. 4 small storage drawers interior dimension width 30.5 cm depth 23 cm height 4.5 cm. The lid is 70 cm wide and 51 cm deep and is covered with red leather in perfect condition (see photo). The whole is surmounted by a last drawer in the upper part. The 4 large drawers are 67 cm wide 26 cm deep, 10.5 cm high and they all slide perfectly. Every drawer and lid has its keys and all locks work perfectly. Height of open lid 76 cm. The fluted uprights, brass rods on the flat parts and rounded white marble on the uprights are typical of the louis XVI style. Very good condition for this secretary of the twentieth century there may however be some minimal traces of use.
