Impressionist painting - Oil on canvas - Marine - French school

Hello. I am offering an old work from the 19th century depicting a summer seascape in the early morning. This seascape depicts 3 boats of different sizes in a beautiful distant horizon allowing for an interesting visual depth. We notice a gradient from left to right in the sky with clouds pushed by the wind. Frame dimensions: 40 cm X 29 cm. Dimensions of the work: 35 cm X 24 cm. This oil on canvas respects the dimensions of the rule of thirds both horizontally and vertically. The work is in perfect condition, it has been completely stripped of varnish, restored, cleaned and then mounted on another canvas. Finally, a satin anti-UV varnish was applied to the canvas (winsor and newton). An old frame with an elegant pattern was added. It was resized, nailed and glued, then a colorless varnish was also applied. The whole is ready to be hung. Very serious seller. Robust shipping on photos.
