Pair of bowls | salt cellars — Robert Picault, Vallauris, 1950s/60s

A small pair of small handled bowls in glazed earthenware, signed R.P, with painted decorations in copper and iron oxides on a white background — Robert Picault, Vallauris, mid-20th century. One of the two bowls bears the painted signature "R.P" on unglazed clay, in line with the marking practice of pieces from the Robert Picault pottery. The second has an unsigned base with a few spots of oxide. Condition: signs of use, tiny chips, no significant losses. No visible cracks. Interior glaze in generally good condition.
