Renaissance Monastery Table - 16th Century

Superb and rare renaissance period monastery table in oak - flanders unique museum quality table with a superb top which has an extraordinary patina. Its 5cm thick top gives it a lot of character. It rests on a base with turned legs decorated with imposing ringed spheres ending in skates and connected by a wooden spacer. Curvature and wear of the spacer over the years which gives it a lot of charm in superb condition and magnificent patina.
