Old painting Oil on canvas signed Geo Leclercq

Charming old oil on canvas signed by the artist Geo LECLERCQ, a Belgian post-impressionist painter who is referenced and valued, born in 1932. The composition features a bouquet of delicate flowers in a white vase, accompanied by a woven basket filled with red cherries, all resting on a blue tablecloth. Created on canvas (dimensions 24 by 30 cm), this work illustrates a meticulous painting technique, with textured brush strokes that bring the petals and fruits to life. The dominant shades of green, red, yellow, and purple create a harmonious contrast. The artist's signature is visible in the lower right corner. The painting is in very good overall condition, retaining the brilliance of its original colours. The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame, with inscriptions on the back indicating its origin or history.
