Mid-Century Modern Crowfoot Table Lamp by Cosack, 1960s

Vintage design. Mid Century table lamp by Cosack. This model and others are often attributed to Louis Kalff. However, no source confirms this. Furthermore, Kalff never worked for Cosack. A simple design with elegant shapes. The striking elements of this lamp are the large diabolo shade and the finely crafted "crow's foot" base. The base and shade are connected by a curved brass arm. The shade is adjustable via a joint. The colouring is special. The "white" shade forms a harmonious contrast with the black base. Additionally, there is a contrast between the smooth surface of the brass arm and the textured lacquer of the base and shade. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use on the shade (see photos). The electrical system has been renewed.
