Vintage wooden school desk and chair set, Baumann, 1950s-60s

Charming children's school set dating from the 1950s, consisting of a solid wood desk and its matching chair. The chair is stamped Baumann under the seat. The desk, simple and functional, has a central drawer with a wooden handle and rests on four tapered legs connected by spacers. The bent beech chair is distinguished by a curved backrest with three vertical bars and a honey-stained molded plywood seat. The set retains its original patina with signs of use consistent with its age.
