Old Louis XV Style Bedside Table in White and Gold

Period: ca. 1900. An old two-storey chevet with a lot of charm thanks to the hand-carved details of flowers, rockery and pierced clovers. The curved feet, curved gallery and scalloped edges give it a distinct louis XV style. The sides and back have openwork clover and heart shapes. The table was painted with white paint and the carved details were accentuated with a gold-finished wax to give it an antique look. Status: good. Recently revamped. This is an old piece of furniture and therefore one cannot expect smooth surfaces under the paint job like an object that has just come out of the factory. Dimensions: 74 cm total height, 65.5 cm surface height, 48 cm wide, 34 cm deep, 6 kg.
