Set of 5 oyster plates Digoin Sarreguemines no. 32 – Antique majolica

Magnificent set of 5 antique oyster plates from Digoin Sarreguemines, bearing the manufacturer's mark and the number 32 on the back. A particularly decorative and uncommon model in this superb colour, featuring six scallop shells in relief with shades of blue-grey and salmon pink, set against a delicately water green background. The small central compartment was designed to present lemon or seasoning. A very beautiful antique set, ideal for a lovely seafood table or for wall decoration. The 5 plates are in very good overall condition: no cracks and no significant chips. There are a few light signs of use and wear on the decoration due to their age. Only one plate has a tiny chip on the edge, very discreet and visible in the photo. Diameter: 24 cm. Height: 2.5 cm. Total weight: 3.1 kg.
