Louis Buffet in Walnut 19th Century with Drawers, Marble and Bronze Ornaments

We are delighted to offer for sale this splendid 19th-century French Louis buffet made of walnut, featuring a solid marble top and bronze ornaments throughout. A very decorative and well-crafted antique piece, the patina of the walnut wood is stunning from every angle, the bronze ornaments are beautifully moulded, with the large central section depicting a scene from a French tavern, and the side decorations resembling ship's masks. This piece is a highly decorative work of art. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; it shows normal patina marks due to honest use and its authentic age, and the marble top has been repaired at some point. Please note that vintage and original items such as leather seating will always have a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear; we recommend regular waxing to preserve moisture. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it can dry out and fade.
